Last month we told you about our work moving the HMRC Library content to GOV.UK. We’re now preparing to move our web guidance for agents too. Over to the Digital Services Team to explain our next steps…….
Moving to GOV.UK
HMRC will move most of its customer facing content to GOV.UK, the single government website before the end of the year.
The majority of our tax agent and adviser content will transition as-is because we know it works well for you, though it will be presented differently - in GOV.UK formats. We’ll also create a specialist browse area for tax agents - bringing together the content you need.
We’re planning to run a session with some representatives from the main professional bodies shortly, to demonstrate how the GOV.UK offering for agents will look initially, and to seek comment and feedback before the move.
We’re also continuing to develop the format for HMRC manuals on GOV.UK, incorporating your comments on the early prototype and plan to share a beta version soon.
Following transition, we’ll look for ways we can improve the agent proposition through feedback, data and by working with you over the coming months.
All pages on GOV.UK include a link (near the bottom of the page) for you to tell us if there’s something that isn’t working well for you, or, for example, if you've spotted a broken link. The GOV.UK feedback form can be found in the 'Contact' area of GOV.UK and is the best way to send your comments on any of the material published.
In addition you can also post your comments and questions on this blog.
