In June I told you we would be bringing you webinars and over the summer months we have delivered the first interactive webinar on penalties and inaccuracies in documents and returns. The response was very positive with 710 of you joining a live session and over 1,200 having watched the pre-recorded version.
We are trying more innovative ways of working with you to assess your needs as digital users. An exit survey at the end of this first webinar has helped inform the development of our next product which we then tested with a focus group of agents. The webinar, ‘self-assessment tax returns – expenses risks and concerns’, proved popular, but more importantly our test group engaged with the process and offered constructive feedback, which has been invaluable in shaping the focus of it.
The testing also showed that you want more digital products for agents - 98 per cent of our group would like to see more HMRC webinars aimed at agents and 92 per cent said they would join another live HMRC webinar.
