HMRC’s work has been at the centre of the government’s response to COVID-19. Whether that’s by administering the support schemes, changing our operational approach or through more than 80 other policy changes.
Cyber security threats are constantly evolving. As you already know, the security of HMRC’s systems and customer data is one of our top priorities.
Here’s a reminder of how you can play your part
Did you know, HMRC will never notify you of a tax rebate by email or text. We also won’t ask you to disclose personal or payment information by email or text. You can forward suspicious emails to the HMRC phishing team at, phishing@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk.
