Next week, on the 11 and 12 of May, HMRC will again be attending the Accountex Exhibition and Conference in London's ExCel Centre. Last year more than 700 agents stopped at our stand to speak to us, and with an estimated 5,500 tax professionals expected at this year's event we are hoping to see even more of you.
HMRC staff will be on hand to let you know about what we are doing to help and support agents as we continue to move towards a more digital way of engagement. On day one HMRC will be giving a presentation on Making Tax Digital in the ATT & CIOT Tax Theatre. Oliver Fisher has responsibility for the design and policy delivery of Making Tax Digital for Business, and he will explain what this means for the future.
