HMRC Agent Toolkits – Survey findings and changes to functionality

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: General

Towards the end of November 2013 we ran an online survey to find out what agents think about HMRC Agent Toolkits

We’ve reviewed the results and would like to share our key findings with you: Toolkits to help reduce errors: agent survey results

In response to your feedback, we are making improvements to toolkit functionality. The Toolkit Checklists will now allow you to add and save reference notes, client names and so on. You can also save the information electronically, or print a hard copy.

The first two toolkits to incorporate the new functions will be the Expenses and Benefits from Employment Toolkit  and the National Insurance Contributions and Statutory Payments Toolkit both due to be published on 6 April 2014. Other toolkits will be enhanced as they are updated each year.

If you haven’t used our toolkits yet, why not find out more about them? Many agents are already finding them extremely useful in helping to avoid the most common errors in tax returns.
